Travel

For some, international travel is an everyday thing, but if you're like Phil you want to plan every single step of your journey months in advance... we hope this helps!

Planes

Direct to Toulouse from London Heathrow with BA and from London Gatwick with Easyjet.

Easyjet also fly from Bristol to Toulouse, but have not yet released timetables for next summer.

From Toulouse Airport there are several car hire options (40 minutes drive to venue), or you can take a tram to Toulouse Matabiau station, and from there a train to Damiatte. However, buses do not run regularly and taxis need to be booked in advance, so if you are planning to use public transport then please get in touch so we can advise you on the options.

You can also fly from both Luton and Stanstead to Caracassone with Easyjet. You will need to hire a car as public transport from that direction is tricky (60 minute drive to venue).

Trains

French trains are excellent and you can get very good deals on advance travel.

Travel to Toulouse is via Paris with a change in Bordeaux; for local transport information see above.

Booking can be made via www.thetrainline.com for through travel from London, including Eurostar.

From Toulouse Airport, there is a local bus to Cuq/Puylaurens/Castres, which is better for many accommodation options. It is fairly frequent and very cheap.

If you'd like to know more, or you're unsure about something please message us so we can help..

Automobiles

From Calais, it is around a 12 hour drive to the venue.  From the Brittany ports it is a 9-10 hour drive, depending on which to choose. If traveling with Brittany Ferries, get in touch for a Friends and Family code to give you a discount on crossings.

Please note that these timings do not allow for traffic or rest stops.

You also need to budget for tolls on French motorways. Visit www.viamichelin.co.uk/ to calculate route timings and approximate costings.
